Paying in British Pounds – A Guide for International Art Collectors

I’m honoured to welcome collectors from around the world. Whether you’re in New York, Paris, or Sydney, this page is here to guide you gently through the payment process — with clarity, care, and confidence.

All purchases from my online gallery are processed in £ (British Pounds) — the currency of my art practice, and the place where each piece begins its quiet journey.

What to Expect at Checkout

• Your card or PayPal account will automatically convert the price into your local currency at checkout.
• You don’t need to calculate anything — your bank or payment provider will take care of it seamlessly.
• The conversion is handled using the current market exchange rate, plus a tiny international card fee — usually just a fraction (typically 1–3%), depending on your provider.
• This is a standard, secure international purchase — just like buying from any gallery abroad or global boutique.
• If you’d like to check the current exchange rate before purchasing, you’re welcome to use a trusted converter such as XE.com — just keep in mind that your final total may vary slightly based on your bank’s fee or rate at the moment of purchase.

No third-party markup, no hidden conversion tricks.
Just an honest price in pounds, respectfully converted by your bank.

Why Prices Are in Pounds (£)?

As a UK-based artist, my work is priced in British Pounds — the natural currency of my business and creative life.

For international collectors, this adds a layer of authenticity to the experience. You’re not buying from a globalised retail system — you’re collecting directly from the artist, at source.

Why GBP (Great British Pound) Works in Your Favour?

Paying in British Pounds may seem unfamiliar at first — but it quietly works in your favour.

It offers clarity: you’ll always see a stable, consistent price, unaffected by daily currency shifts or hidden markups.

It avoids surprises: your bank or PayPal handles the conversion automatically, using the current market exchange rate — not a third-party markup or inflated middle rate.

It keeps things honest: there are no retail pricing tricks, no artificial rounding, no psychological pricing. Just the true value of the artwork, clearly and respectfully presented.

And most importantly, it offers simplicity: one clear currency, one transparent process. Just like the artwork itself, it’s thoughtful, intentional, and built to last.

Invoices and Receipts

All order confirmations and receipts are issued in £ (British Pounds) — the official currency of sale.

If you’re based outside the UK:

  • Your card statement or PayPal account will show the converted amount in your currency

  • Your receipt and invoice from me will remain in GBP, in accordance with UK regulations

I do not issue invoices in other currencies — this supports accurate, compliant bookkeeping for both parties.

Secure, Global-Friendly Payments

You can pay securely using:

  • All major credit and debit cards

  • Apple Pay or Google Pay (quick checkout with digital wallets)

  • PayPal

  • Klarna (in supported countries, for flexible payments)

Every transaction is encrypted, verified, and protected — whether you're buying from around the corner or across the sea.

Art Has No Borders

Buying art internationally is part of the magic. It’s a moment of connection — from my hands to your home, from one part of the world to another.

Each purchase is treated with care and intention, just like the artwork itself.

Every part of this process matters to me — from clarity to care. You can read more in the Terms & Conditions, understand how I handle Refunds & Replacements, or get in touch if you have any questions.
