I was walking one quiet day along the Thames, caught in the hush between footsteps and the whisper of the river. It was there that a riverside lamppost rose before me, more than a streetlight — a sentinel of memory, a symbol of endurance. I raised my camera, not to capture its detail, but to capture its spirit.
